Alexis joined Redstone after working in McKinsey’s public and social sector consulting practice, where she collaborated with non-profits, government agencies, and large foundations on the design and implementation of strategies to address economic mobility, workforce development, and racial equity.

Prior to joining McKinsey, she completed her PhD in Comparative Human Development at the University of Chicago. In her research, she used both qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the impact of the social determinants of health on the perception and experience of disability among older adults in the US. In her master’s level research, she explored the cultural elements of aging among older adults in Chile.

Outside of work, Alexis is an amateur ceramicist who also enjoys hiking, traveling, and dancing. She lives in Chicago with her husband, stepdaughter, and two rescue dogs.
